France VFR PACA vol. 1 : Impressions

FSX.  Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur (PACA) is a very large area, one of the largest official Regions in France. Nice photoreal textures if you fly a lot to Nice LFMN.

FRANCE VFR  PHOTO RANGE - PACA VOL. 1

Version tested : FSX V.1.0
Files : 7,5 GB in 4 files
Installation : Very easy. Execute each file one by one.
Framerate : Very friendly, all modern processors. Dual cores can handle it.

The bad :

* 19,90 euros (around 25 US dollars) is quite expensive, especially if you want to buy both volumes (1 and 2).

* France VFR is releasing a lot of PHOTO range sceneries because it's the easiest way for them until now. Too bad, we would like to fly on VFR sceneries like Haute-Normandie amazing scenery. On this pace, we will not get the VFR extension until september or october...

The good :

* It's a very large photoreal area, enhanced with a lot of hand work to polish the details (coastlines and lakes for instance) AND it's a mesh.

* Totally works with Aerosoft Nice Cote d'Azur LFMN (i just put Nice airport layer under France VFR Paca - and besides, both editors seem to work together quite closely).

  2. Well, France VFR is posting many screenshots and previews before any release on their forum. For our benefits...
